CURIOV8 is led by co-founders Dr. Megel Barker and Dr. Sheree Rodney, with Levi Wilson serving as senior advisor and consultant. Dr. Megel Barker

Dr. Megel Barker is an international school leader, author and educational researcher. His current work connects school leadership, responsible AI integration, teacher professional development and strategic innovation in schools.

Dr. Sheree Rodney

Curiosity, embodiment and mathematics education

Dr. Sheree Rodney works at the intersection of curiosity, embodiment, digital technology and mathematics education. Her work on Embodied Curiosity explores how learners construct mathematical meaning through interaction with digital tools, movement, noticing and inquiry.

Her public SFU profile identifies her as a Mathematics Education PhD alumna, with experience as an elementary teacher, secondary mathematics teacher, school administrator, mathematics specialist for Jamaica's Ministry of Education, part-time tertiary lecturer and school inspector. Levi Wilson

Levi Wilson is a career mathematics educator with experience in the United Kingdom. As senior advisor and consultant, he supports CURIOV8's professional learning work through mathematics education expertise, classroom insight and curriculum-informed guidance.

His role strengthens CURIOV8's capacity to design professional development that remains grounded in the reality of mathematics teaching: the subject knowledge, planning decisions, classroom questions and practical routines that help teachers and students thrive.
